This Privacy Policy explains how Kaptivate Life collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with www.kaptivatelife.com, its contact form, appointment scheduling, and related communications.

Scope

This Policy applies to personal information handled by Kaptivate Life through the website and related communications. It does not govern the independent practices of third-party websites or services that you choose to visit, including Calendly booking pages and other sites reached through external links.

Information We Collect

Contact Form and Communications

When you use the contact form, Kaptivate Life collects your name, email address, and message. You may also select an optional subject. If you communicate with Kaptivate Life by email or another agreed method, we may retain the content of that communication and related correspondence.

Please do not submit medical, mental-health, financial, government identification, or other sensitive personal information through the contact form. The form is not intended for confidential, clinical, or emergency communications.

Scheduling Information

If you choose to schedule through Calendly, Calendly may collect the contact, appointment, time-zone, and scheduling information you provide. A scheduling link may also include limited referral information identifying the Kaptivate Life page or section from which you accessed it. Kaptivate Life uses that referral information to understand which offerings generate appointment interest and to manage its services; it is not used for cross-site advertising.

Technical and Log Information

The website's hosting, security, and network providers may automatically create technical or server logs needed to deliver and protect the website. Those logs may include an Internet Protocol address, browser or device type, access time, referring page, requested page, and security-event information. Kaptivate Life does not currently use those logs for visitor analytics.

Cookies Analytics and Third Party Content

Kaptivate Life does not itself set cookies and does not currently use an analytics service, advertising pixels, remarketing tools, or social-media widgets. Social-media icons and the MMTCP alumni badge are ordinary links and do not send information to the destination site unless you choose to follow the link.

The Kaptivate Life website does not automatically load Calendly. Calendly receives information only after you choose and follow a booking link. On Calendly's booking page, Calendly may collect technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own notices and controls. Calendly determines the purposes and retention periods for its cookies.

How We Use Information

Kaptivate Life uses personal information to:

• respond to inquiries and communicate with you;

• schedule, prepare for, and manage conversations or appointments;

• consider and administer requested mindfulness teaching, advisory work, or executive group leadership engagements;

• understand which Kaptivate Life page or offering led to a scheduling request;

• operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website and communications systems;

• identify and filter spam, fraud, misuse, and security threats;

• maintain appropriate business records and comply with legal obligations; and

• protect the rights, safety, and property of Kaptivate Life and others.

Email addresses submitted for an inquiry or appointment are used for responding, scheduling, and maintaining related business records. Kaptivate Life does not currently operate a website newsletter or use a third-party email-marketing provider. An address will not be added to a marketing list unless you separately ask or consent to receive those communications.

How We Disclose Information

Kaptivate Life may disclose personal information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers. Formspree processes and forwards contact-form submissions and may process limited technical information for delivery, security, and spam prevention. Calendly processes scheduling information when you choose its booking service. Hosting, email, information-technology, and security providers may process information as needed to perform services for Kaptivate Life.

Legal and safety reasons. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to a lawful request, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or establish or defend a legal claim.

Business changes. Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of Kaptivate Life, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.

Your direction or consent. Information may be disclosed when you direct or authorize Kaptivate Life to do so.

Formspree's independent practices are described in its Privacy Policy. Calendly's independent practices are described in its Privacy Notice.

No Sale or Behavioral Advertising Sharing

Kaptivate Life does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. It does not use advertising partners, data brokers, or targeted-advertising technologies on the website.

Browser Privacy Signals

The website does not currently alter its operation in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals because Kaptivate Life does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or conduct targeted advertising through the website. If those practices change, this Policy and the website's controls will be reviewed before the change is implemented.

Retention

Kaptivate Life keeps personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, manage scheduling or an engagement, maintain appropriate business and legal records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. Email addresses and related correspondence may be retained as part of those records, but they are not used for marketing without separate permission. Information may remain for a limited time in backups or service-provider systems after removal from active records. Formspree and Calendly may retain information under their own settings, contracts, and legal obligations.

Security

Kaptivate Life uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information it handles and relies on service providers to protect information processed through their systems. No website, form, email system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use care when deciding what to send online.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to request other information about how it is handled. Kaptivate Life will consider and respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. A request may be limited where information must be retained for legal, security, recordkeeping, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Children and Minors

The website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. Kaptivate Life does not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through the website, please contact Kaptivate Life so it can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate. A minor should use the contact and scheduling features only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Visitors Outside the United States

Kaptivate Life operates from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or in other countries where its service providers operate. Privacy laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live. Nothing in this Policy limits rights that applicable law gives you.

Changes to This Policy

Kaptivate Life may update this Policy when the website, service providers, practices, or law changes. The revised Policy will be posted with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how previously collected personal information is used, Kaptivate Life will provide any additional notice or choice required by applicable law.
